Terms of Service
Last updated: 19 September 2026
These terms govern the use of ClipsHiro, a desktop application that produces short vertical videos and publishes them to YouTube channels owned by its user. ClipsHiro is developed and operated by an independent creator in Belgium ("we"). Contact: logand40@gmail.com.
1. YouTube Terms of Service
ClipsHiro uses YouTube API Services. By using ClipsHiro, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and by the Google Privacy Policy. ClipsHiro's own Privacy Policy describes what the application accesses and stores.
2. What ClipsHiro does
ClipsHiro drafts short scripts, narrates them, assembles licensed stock footage and captions into a vertical video, and, when you approve a clip, uploads it to a YouTube channel you have authorised through Google sign-in. You choose the visibility of every upload (public and scheduled, unlisted or private). No video is uploaded without your explicit action on that specific clip.
3. Your responsibilities
- You may only connect YouTube channels you own or are authorised to manage.
- You are responsible for the content you publish: its accuracy, its compliance with the YouTube Community Guidelines, copyright law and any applicable disclosure obligations (for example for synthetic or altered content).
- You must not use ClipsHiro to spam, mislead, or artificially inflate engagement.
- You must keep your Google Account credentials and the local OAuth token confidential.
4. Licence
ClipsHiro is proprietary software provided to its operator for the operator's own channels. It is not offered for sale or redistribution. Third-party components (FFmpeg, text-to-speech, stock footage, music) remain subject to their own licences; attributions required by those licences are added to video descriptions automatically where applicable.
5. No warranty, limitation of liability
ClipsHiro is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from the use of ClipsHiro, including the removal, demonetisation or restriction of videos or channels by YouTube.
6. Termination
You can stop using ClipsHiro at any time and revoke its access from Google security settings. We may stop providing or updating ClipsHiro at any time.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute that cannot be settled amicably is submitted to the competent courts of Brussels, Belgium.
8. Changes and contact
Changes are published on this page with a new date. Questions: logand40@gmail.com.
