A desktop studio that cuts, captions and schedules short vertical videos on its operator's own YouTube channels.
ClipsHiro runs on one computer, for one operator. It writes short scripts, narrates them, or cuts passages out of a longer video, adds word-by-word captions and a hook, and renders a 30 to 59 second vertical clip. Every clip waits in a review queue until the operator approves it.
It uses YouTube API Services for two things only: uploading approved clips to channels the operator owns, and reading the public view and like counts of those clips.
What a finished clip looks like before the operator reviews it.
How it works
- Write or cut The operator picks a channel and either asks for short scripts on the channel's theme, or pastes a link to a longer video and picks the passages worth keeping.
- Produce Each clip is narrated with text-to-speech or keeps its original sound, gets word-by-word captions and a hook, and is rendered as a 1080 × 1920 MP4 on the operator's machine.
- Review Every clip appears in a validation queue with its video, title, description and hashtags. Nothing leaves the computer until the operator edits and approves it.
- Publish On approval, the operator chooses the visibility (public and scheduled, unlisted, or private) and ClipsHiro uploads the clip to the operator's YouTube channel through the YouTube Data API, on the next free time slot the operator configured.
- Track The history page shows each published clip with its public view and like counts, fetched from the YouTube Data API and refreshed at least every 30 days.
Use of YouTube API Services
ClipsHiro uses YouTube API Services. By using ClipsHiro you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
- Videos are uploaded only to channels the operator has authorised through Google sign-in (OAuth 2.0).
- Every upload is triggered by an explicit action of the operator on a specific, reviewed clip.
- The only data read back from YouTube is the public statistics of videos ClipsHiro itself uploaded.
- Access can be revoked at any time from Google security settings.
Details are in the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service.
